Woodcraft
Introduction With a view to maintaining high standards
and continually honing our collective experience we decided to run a modern
craft project alongside our other activities. Any such project must
ensure that we remained up to date and that best practices were sought out
and used throughout.
With this in mind the notion of developing and implementing a woodcraft
and a needlecraft project was born. Bespoke craft working was enjoyed
by all members of the team. So we adopted the task of establishing a
project covering both of these crafts from inception to going on line and
maintaining standards thereafter. A record of all craft items created
would be put on display and a blog kept associated with each of them.
Pricing, at this stage, would be decided at the time of completing each
good. Where bespoke orders are placed the price would be subject to
discussion. The intention of 'up front' payment being sought for
materials at the time of the order being accepted - and every effort made to
agree the final price at that time. All bespoke orders would be
reported via a blog at an agreed interval.
Additionally. the feasibility will be explored of displaying either in
still photograph format or via YouTube video the highlights of work in
progress.
